KITAP is the Indonesian permanent stay permit. It is issued after several years of continuous KITAS on eligible routes — most commonly spouse of an Indonesian citizen, long-term investor, or retirement. It is valid for 5 years and can be renewed. KITAP eligibility depends on your prior KITAS history and sponsor — Visio confirms this before starting the filing.

Your case may need human review
Your case may need human review. Some visa routes depend on your current stay permit, sponsor, documents, activity and current Indonesian immigration rules. A Visio specialist will review your case before confirming the best path.
Case-by-case. Sponsor readiness and prior KITAS history drive timing.
What happens after you apply
You pay for the service and upload your documents in your secure Visio account.
A specialist reviews your documents and contacts you if anything needs to be fixed.
We submit the application and keep you updated by email and WhatsApp.
When the visa is issued you receive it in your account and by email.
Payment & prepayment
Payment is taken upfront before we submit the application. It covers government fees and our team's work. For complex cases (KITAS, PMA, C12) part of the payment may be non-refundable once filings start - we always tell you before you pay.
Human review
This is a complex case. Before the final invoice your application is reviewed by a Visio specialist: we check eligibility, documents and timing. If the case doesn't qualify we tell you before any filings start.
Risk note
High complexity. KITAP requires an unbroken KITAS history on an eligible route. If prior KITAS was cancelled or on the wrong route, the application will not qualify — Visio confirms this before any filings start.
Refunds & delays
Government fees are non-refundable once the application has been filed. The service portion can be refunded if we have not started work yet. Processing times are estimates - Indonesian immigration may delay decisions and Visio is not liable for those delays.
Visio cannot guarantee approval - visa decisions are made by Indonesian immigration authorities. We work with local visa and legal partners where required. Visio is not an official immigration partner.
Frequently asked questions
Can approval be guaranteed?
No. Decisions are made by Indonesian immigration. Visio prepares accurate documents and supports your application, but we cannot guarantee approval.
Do I have to pay upfront?
Yes. We start work after payment because government fees are paid in advance.
What if my case is urgent?
Tell us right away - we'll assess whether it's realistic and offer priority processing where it's available for this category.
What if immigration delays the decision?
We keep supporting your application at no extra cost. Visio doesn't control immigration timing but we keep you updated on every change.
What about refunds?
The service portion is refundable if we haven't started work yet. Government fees are non-refundable once filed. See our Refund Policy for details.
